Add a unit
A fire inspection form can mean a simple record of what you checked, where it is, when you checked it, and what you noticed. In Fire Inspection Log, that starts with a unit such as a portable extinguisher or an emergency light, then the location and a note. For portable fire extinguishers, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.157 calls for a monthly visual inspection where that rule applies, and the app is built around that kind of repeating reminder. See the features page for the planned list view.
The monthly reminder
After you save a log entry, the date comes back as a reminder next month. That keeps the repeat check easy to remember without asking you to rebuild the same entry each time. The app is meant to hold the last annual maintenance date for extinguishers too, since OSHA 29 CFR 1910.157 calls for an annual maintenance check where that rule applies. Notes stay on the phone
Your record stays with the log entry as a date and a note, so you can keep the details tied to the unit you checked. The planned version does not require an account in v1, and it does not add barcode scanning, NFC, a tag printer, or a photo step. It is a phone-based reminder log for extinguishers and emergency lights, with a field for emergency light test dates. For a plain overview, visit guides.
Waitlist, not a download
Fire Inspection Log is not on the App Store yet, so the button joins a waitlist rather than starting a download. Web and Android are planned, not open right now. If you are comparing options or want to check back later, you can also browse pricing to see how access will be shown in the App Store purchase sheet once the app is listed.
This is a reminder log, not an inspection and not code compliance. Not a substitute for a licensed fire protection inspection. Rules differ by workplace and by the fire code your local authority uses. Fire Inspection Log is not part of OSHA, NFPA, or any fire marshal office.
